Ian Pitchford is a contract photographer and photojournalist from Springfield, Illinois. Ian is majoring in photojournalism at Western Kentucky University and is expected to graduate in May 2025. He is senior in the photo program and is a staff photographer for the WKU Herald.

Being able to capture moments in time and being able to share memories years after they have happened has always helped drive Ian to take pictures. Through the skills he has gained in portraiture, lighting and documentary photography, he strives to make photos that provoke emotion and impact the way viewers feel.
